Pain levels may differ among individuals; however, experiencing some form of discomfort is common. Typically, individuals undergo surgical pain during the initial 3 weeks, followed by a period of feeling better for the subsequent 3 weeks, and eventually experiencing tight muscles. In my case, I endured surgical pain for around a month before noticing tightness around 5 cm. The sensation worsened significantly at 7 cm, leading to intense tightness. Despite becoming accustomed to the pain, it remained persistent but manageable throughout the day. Sleeping at night was challenging without the use of sleep aids, although it gradually improved. Overall, this process was highly uncomfortable. Those unable to maintain their usual lifestyle for 3-5 months would likely find this procedure distressing.
