Hi everyone,
So I underwent four segment lengthenings in Istanbul with Live Life Taller between May and September of 2022. Tibias were lengthened by 5 cm from May to July, followed by a 7 cm lengthening of the femur from July to September. Both procedures were performed using the LON method to reach a height goal of 180 cm. Despite lacking the $200,000 required for surgery in the US, I decided to proceed with the surgeries after being swayed by Live Life Taller’s social media presence. There have been reports of high infection rates at Live Life Taller, ranging from minor infections to severe cases like osteomyelitis. Despite concerns, I managed to avoid any infections during my time there by not following their wound care instructions. One notable issue I faced was the removal of syndesmotic screws during the fixator removal surgery for tibia patients, resulting in a tibiofibular subluxation that required corrective surgery.
Following a diagnosis from Dr. Assayag and a personal tragedy, I left Istanbul prematurely. I completed the rest of the lengthening process at home and underwent corrective surgeries to address complications such as a valgus deformity in my right leg. Despite the challenges, I consider myself fortunate for not experiencing more severe complications and look forward to regaining mobility and moving on with my life.
I strongly advise against considering surgery at Live Life Taller due to the risks involved and urge individuals to explore safer options.

Thanks for sharing. I was also operated on in Turkey by the individual Yuksel Yurttas. He caused me to have misaligned limbs and subsequently misled me. He caused my companion to have misaligned limbs, as well as infection and nerve complications. Please avoid these offenders.

I apologize for the unfortunate event that occurred to you and your friend. Those individuals are truly among the most despicable on Earth. Naturally, the Turkish authorities show no concern whatsoever. Consider the recent earthquake causing the demise of 50,000 individuals due to the government’s negligence towards adhering to building regulations for earthquake resilience. They do not even make an effort to enforce safety protocols for constructing buildings. It is a worthless location.10 -

Indeed, it is accurate. The nation lacks any medical criteria whatsoever. The entire medical framework there is merely a front and acceptable and “eyeballing” it. Yuksel Yurttas is designated to be a professor in orthopedics there in Turkey, and observe how many patients he has messed up. It simply demonstrates the level of education and medical care in Turkey. It is garbage. I swear at that idiot every morning when I wake up.10 -

Frankly!! How can an individual attain the title of “professor” if their incompetence is that blatant? It’s absolutely absurd. The lack of standards is evident.10 -

Results such as these can be disheartening. However, comments like the one provided possess sufficient comedic worth to suggest that you are recuperating effectively. Best of luck, and please continue to keep us informed.00 -

Istanbul University is a proficient medical facility located next to Yeditepe University Hospitals. Turkish medicine as a whole cannot be labeled as subpar in my opinion. I comprehend that coming across such outcomes can be disheartening. The results for patients are primarily influenced by the technical abilities of the surgeon.00
