For those who had undergone the Betz Institute limb lengthening, could you share your progression from using crutches to walking unassisted, then to walking comfortably, and finally to resuming athletic activities such as running, sprinting, jumping, squatting, and lateral movement?

To those who have completed limb lengthening successfully, do your legs seem somewhat inferior to how they were before the surgery? Are they more rigid, less agile, weaker? Have you noticed any decline in coordination and balance?

If possible, please share a link to your journal or personal account of your experience with Betz or Becker.

It depends. If your doctor is good and responsible you will be fine. But,all the doctors are not the same.

I did LL in Cairo with dr.Yasser Elbatrawy and he destroyed my legs.Of course,i am unable to run and i feel much pain almost every day.i have to say that some doctors like him are really really dangerous!
