I had surgery today. I went into the operating room around 8 o’clock and came back to the ward around 2 o’clock. So far, I haven’t experienced any pain, and the doctor advised me to begin some basic stretches to help with my recovery. Thanks to the forum, I received plenty of support, so I can respond to your inquiries while keeping my privacy intact.
Today, I began practicing standing and moving. It is quite challenging, and I must rely heavily on my hands for support. Following ten steps with the walker, I found myself perspiring heavily and had to pause to recuperate.
I didn’t experience any discomfort. I currently have no oral medication aside from the infusion; oral pain relievers were provided, but I chose not to take them.
I attempted stair climbing today, and it proved to be quite strenuous. I have been relocated to the fresh single unit, which I must admit is of VIP standard; regrettably, my discharge is scheduled for tomorrow, and my stay will just be for a day.
