After being injured by an unlicensed physical therapist during her limb-lengthening recovery, my friend had to undergo a long period of medical treatment, rehabilitation, and physical therapy. Although she has now physically recovered, the traumatic experience caused her to fall into deep depression at the time, and she still needs to take antidepressant medication to this day.
