Today, I have finally gathered sufficient evidence regarding all related matters. As the patient’s friend, I feel compelled to speak up on her behalf and remind everyone to remain vigilant. My friend is a Chinese female patient who underwent femur lengthening surgery on May 28, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The surgeon was Dr. Đinh Văn Quỳnh. After surgery, she was placed in a rehabilitation center under the full management of Nguyễn Lâm Hiếu Thảo (commonly known as Thao).
However, Thao abused his authority by privately hiring relatives and acquaintances with no medical background to take charge of rehabilitation:
– Trần Thị Thuý Ngân (born 1987, Thao’s half-sister): Pretended to be a physical therapist and nurse, without any relevant knowledge or qualifications.
– Hân (Thao’s girlfriend): Pretended to be a nurse, with no nursing license.
– Nguyễn Lâm Hiếu Hạnh (born 1996, Thao’s brother): Pretended to be an assistant and therapist, with no medical qualifications whatsoever.
On May 28, 2023, the unlicensed Trần Thị Thuý Ngân forcefully bent my friend’s knee during a so-called “therapy session,” which directly caused a meniscus tear (supported by video and X-ray evidence). After the incident, Thao attempted to cover up for his relatives by:
– Concealing the truth and falsely claiming the patient “fell on her own.”
– Submitting fraudulent reports stating the examination was normal.
– Destroying rehabilitation records to erase evidence.
– Forcing the patient to continue painful, unlicensed leg-pressing exercises, in order to pocket the remaining rehab funds—pushing her into unbearable pain and emotional breakdown.
Fortunately, my friend was able to contact a trustworthy professional interpreter who assisted her throughout. With proper support, she was re-examined and diagnosed with a meniscus tear, and eventually received appropriate treatment. Her knee is now gradually recovering and stable.
⚠️ Important Warning:
– Thao has a long history of drug abuse, which has led to kidney failure requiring dialysis. He has developed the habit of using drugs at night and sleeping through the day, often switching off his phone for several days, leaving patients completely unable to reach him in emergencies. Although Thao has been officially dismissed by the institution, he continues to impersonate a medical provider, running an illegal organization called “BBbone”, deceiving and admitting new patients with the help of dishonest medical brokers.➡️ At present, the number of victims is increasing, involving patients from Japan, France, the Philippines, Australia, China, and more, with the impact continuing to spread.
⚠️⚠️⚠️Everything I have stated is supported by solid evidence: authentic videos, X-ray scans, patient conversation records, as well as testimony from many victims and former patients. On both Chinese limb-lengthening forums and international platforms such as the LimbLengthening Forum, it has been confirmed that Ngân is indeed Thao’s half-sister. Moreover, anyone can check on official Vietnamese websites to verify that BBbone and Thao himself hold absolutely no legal medical qualifications.
🚨 As a close friend of the patient, I issue this solemn warning:
Anyone considering surgery in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam must exercise extreme caution to avoid becoming the next victim!I have also attached google drive link below, which contains further proof supporting this testimony.⬇️⬇️⬇️ (1 video link, 1 x-ray link)

What happened to your friend now? Has she recovered? What about her limb lengthening? Sounds like a pretty traumatic and scary experience. Was pretty interested in contacting Dr Quynh’s services to get the procedure maybe next year but now I have 2nd thoughts 😖 Thanks for the caution and I hope your friend is doing fine.

After being injured by an unlicensed physical therapist during her limb-lengthening recovery, my friend had to undergo a long period of medical treatment, rehabilitation, and physical therapy. Although she has now physically recovered, the traumatic experience caused her to fall into deep depression at the time, and she still needs to take antidepressant medication to this day.00

A lot of people say this thread is false, this is his reply to me
I understand that you may have seen or heard some things online, so I want to clarify everything clearly and honestly.Unfortunately, there is a competitor who used to work with us in the past. After we separated and built our own independent center, they began spreading false rumors about us because they could not compete with our quality, results, or pricing.
All of these rumors are completely untrue — and we have full documents, legal proof, and real patients to show the facts. Because that former partner is from China, we even made a video explanation in Chinese to help everyone understand the real story transparently.
At B.Bone Recovery Center (bbonehcm.com), we don’t rely on words — we prove our credibility through:
Real surgeries and real patients currently recovering in our center.
Consistent bone healing results verified by X-rays and daily physiotherapy records.
Transparent pricing and all-inclusive service, with no hidden fees.
Professional hospital collaboration with licensed surgeons and facilities.
To help people see the truth for themselves, we also offer a free survey trip program for potential patients who want to visit Vietnam before deciding:
We provide free visa support, 2-night hotel stay, and doctor consultation.
You can meet real patients, see the apartments, recovery center, and discuss directly with our medical and support team.
We always believe that real work and real results speak louder than rumors.
If you are open to visiting, we’ll be happy to help arrange your visa and travel plan — you can see everything with your own eyes and talk freely with our existing patients.00 -

I can absolutely vouch for everything said here. My LL with Thao in Ho Chi Minh was one of the worst experiences of my life. They’re basically just agents who charge a high fee but don’t do shit. There were no real medical professionals involved. All the “staff” are Thao’s family members with no medical licenses or qualifications — it’s basically a family business. His brother, a driver who also delivers food, posed as a physical therapist, and his girlfriend pretended to be a nurse. The rest looked like people you’d see selling Bánh Mì on the street. The whole setup felt amateurish and unsafe. The so-called “physiotherapy” was an absolute joke. After I left, I managed to get in touch with Thao’s surgeon, Dr. Dinh Van Quynh, and told him about all the BS I went through. The doctor’s skills are acceptable — not perfect, but acceptable. If anyone’s thinking about doing LL with him, I’d suggest going directly to him for a much, much, much lower price without going through Thao.
My DMs are open if you want Dr. Quynh’s direct contact. There’s no reason to pay Thao a hefty fee for basically nothing but humiliation.
