25 December 2019, I underwent limb lengthening surgery using the Precice 2 method for both femur and tibia. Today, after my latest extension, I have achieved an additional length of 3cm 4.5mm.
The doctor’s plan is to do three extensions in one day of 0.25mm each, totaling 0.75mm.
I am simultaneously lengthening both legs due to my weakness, relying on a walker to assist me in walking and being in a wheelchair otherwise.
Following the surgery, my initial pain level was 10/5.5-6, which decreased to 10/3-3.5 on the first night with the help of painkillers. The following five days, my pain level was at intervals of 10/3.
The angle of my knee bend was very good on the first day post-surgery.
And Homecoming
Since returning home, I have not experienced any pain and have not needed painkillers. I plan to continue documenting my progress daily and welcome any questions you may have. My goal is to reach +8 cm and a height of 1.71m. I have also been featured in the news in Turkey.
As always, I began the day with a lovely breakfast, followed by finishing the remainder of my book and enjoying some computer games.
I am following the instructions from my doctor for limb lengthening. I take 1 gram of Supradyn daily.
I will be visiting my doctor next week to assess the progress of the lengthening procedure.
I appreciate my doctor immensely because since I arrived home, I have not needed a single painkiller…
