1) How many patients have you performed cosmetic Limb Lengthening on so far and how many patients do you operate on each year?
– Since 1993, I have performed 450 lengthening procedures. Among these, 46 were cosmetic cases (stature lengthening).
2) What techniques do you utilize for lengthening?
– Classical Ilizarov Technique, LON (Lengthening Over Nails), Lengthening followed by Plating, Internal Methods
3) What is the estimated total cost, including post-operative treatments, stay, medications, physiotherapy? Are unscheduled surgeries included and what is the cost of a consultation?
– The price package consists of a 5-day hospital stay and physiotherapy during that time. Afterward, the patient is responsible for accommodation (hotel, residence) and physiotherapy. It is recommended that the patient undergo physiotherapy 5 times a week, with the physiotherapy cost being 1000 Turkish Liras weekly (200 TL per session).

4) Is there a limit to the lengthening?
– The ideal amount of lengthening is 1/5th of the original length of the bone. We recommend a maximum manageable lengthening of 8 cm for femurs and 6 cm for tibiae.
