So, after more than two years, I have made the decision to undergo surgery with Dr. Saini and under the expert supervision of Harry.
Previously, I have extensively researched and consulted with numerous doctors in my country to learn about their knowledge and experience in limb lengthening surgery.
Subsequently, I became aware of DR. HIRDESH KUMAR, also known as HARRY, through online forums where he is recognized for having over a decade of expertise in limb lengthening. Following a video consultation lasting over 20 minutes, although it was convincing, I opted to have an in-person discussion with him.
Therefore, on the nineteenth of April, I arrived in Gurgaon. Later, we had a meeting at his clinic where he decided to introduce me to some actual LL patients, ‘Keynes’ and ‘john007’. After observing their condition and hearing about their experiences, I became fully enthusiastic about embarking on this journey.

Just wait a little longer. I assure you I will resolve everything!
It is not possible to write everything in a single day due to pain and discomfort.

Later, we made the decision to undergo surgery in June or July due to the unexpected Covid situation in India. Consequently, I gathered my essential belongings and embarked on the journey in late June. Arriving on the 28th of June in Gurgaon, the following day saw Harry arranging a significant meeting with Dr. Saini at his clinic. Dr. Saini was exceptionally amiable towards me, while Harry provided detailed information about the procedure without relenting on his stance. Following a profound discussion, we settled on the 1st of July as the surgery date. Thus, I presented myself at the hospital on the 30th of June, where Dr. Saini conducted the necessary tests in preparation for the surgery scheduled to commence at 9 am.

      Initial height – 158-159cm
      Target – 6-7cm
      Procedure – LON Tibia
      Surgery Date – 1st July
      Surgeon – Dr. Saini
      Guide – Dr. Hirdesh (Harry)

      DAY 1-3

Thus, I woke up at 6.00 am, took a shower, and then conversed with my family offering prayers for my well-being. Subsequently, a catheter was inserted into my bladder, and I was put on glucose before being taken to the operating theatre. Under epidural anesthesia, which I found somewhat challenging, I once again sought divine intervention and reminisced about my loved ones. Gradually, I began to lose sensation in my legs. The entire staff displayed utmost professionalism as the surgery, guided by Dr. Saini’s experienced hands, proceeded for six hours, with meticulous attention to every detail using a sophisticated medical imaging device known as ‘C-ARM’.
After the procedure, I was transferred to the ICU ward, where both HARRY and Dr. Saini reassured me of the surgery’s complete success. By the evening, sensation started returning to my legs. For the initial two days, I experienced minimal pain due to the continuous epidural. Subsequently, the epidural was removed, and I was put on IV. On the third day, HARRY visited me, assisted me in sitting up, and engaged me in basic exercises.

      Here are some post-surgery images.

      DAY: 4-5

The clinic maintained impeccable hygiene standards, and the staff provided me with exceptional care. Pain levels were tolerable, but the most discomforting aspect was bowel movements. On the fourth day, the IV and catheter were removed, and despite increased pain, effective painkillers were administered. The fifth day involved X-ray examinations, after which HARRY transferred me to accommodation.

Below are the X-rays of my legs.

Hey Buddy, I recall your visit. You can rest assured that you are in capable hands. The great thing about Harry is his strong network of doctors. Opting for Dr. Saini is a wise decision; he also paid me a visit once. Wishing you the very best and hoping you have a pleasant experience there.
