Giotikas is enunciated as “ya-tee-kahss”nai (neh) translates to yes in greek. oh-hee translates to no.
will have IV needle in left hand early on, however, the discomfort reduces as time passes
The road outside Montaza Hotel (one place where he sends nurses) is narrow. parked cars make it harder to see fast bikers driving by but you can hear them, prolly don’t listen to music on road
peeing in hospital bed:
when lying in bed, angle penis down into bottle (awkward but better than the pee falling back at you)
first day after surgery need more effort/force to get pee out
When done: Pull penis out of pee bottle w/ a tissue, catches misc pee
asking hospital staff to empty pee bottle whenever they come is useful
good to poo before go to hospital + before see doctor if can (pooing in bed in hospital

The front of my thigh, the sides of my thigh, and my hip flexors are very sore, which is making it hard to do the stretches. I am wondering if the nurses will assist me.My biceps and frontal delts are also sore, probably because I used them to hold my leg up for stretching, as well as for using the walker and wheelchair. I am not entirely sure.
My lats are slightly sore too, likely from using the walker, which is akin to doing static dips.
I am contemplating what food to order when I return to the hotel in a few days. Probably some easily prepared/eaten veggies and an ice cream bar.
There are clicks coming from the gnail device itself, sounding a bit lower pitched but louder.
I also notice what seems to be body clicks, potentially from someone’s knees or hip, not the device. These clicks appear to be quieter and higher pitched. Another person undergoing limb lengthening at the hospital also mentioned this.
When thinking about Mordin Solus from Mass Effect with this sentence structure, it’s like, “I made him a steak! Focused on big picture. Too many variables.”

Hi SpeedDialerGreat diary entry. I appreciate the thoroughness. I can relate to almost all the feelings you outlined.
Continue moving forward and maintain your mental resilience.
Also, congratulations on the surgery. The most challenging part is over.00 -

Getting on and off toilet remains challenging, requiring a lot of assistance.A sense of being anchored is felt when independence for certain activities is limited.
Once on my laptop, mobility and freedom return, except for the IV needle in my left hand.
In terms of discomfort, in comparison to limb lengthening, undergoing a hair transplant (with numbing but no anesthesia, while awake) seemed more momentarily uncomfortable due to the awake state during the procedure (feeling like multiple stabs in the forehead).
The sensation of clicking is challenging to articulate. It is not painful when muscles are relaxed, yet it gives a profound, invasive feeling that somehow triggers concern in the mind, despite the awareness of pursuing this procedure to click and increase height.
The anticipation before the click is more unsettling than the actual click. The tension in the legs, the awkward positioning, and uncertainty about when the click will occur contribute to this feeling.

There is something that intrigues me a lotWhen I sit upright on the bed and slightly rotate my heels upwards or inwards, even just by 1 cm, I experience a feeling as if the bed has parts that are capable of moving and rotating upwards with my feet
However, upon touching the side of the bed, I realize that there are no flaps rotating upwards and inwards at the central line of that end of the bed. The special hospital bed can only bend and flatten with its mechanical components underneath, but it does not rotate upwards and inwards on its own.
This indicates that the sensation I perceive must originate from my legs themselves after the limb lengthening surgery
On an unrelated note, it is peculiar that during the first few nights, when I attempt to sleep, my brain seems to interpret the overall pain and soreness in my legs as movement or as if my legs are being moved. Consequently, in my dreams, my entire body and particularly my thighs seem to move in waves or undulate in a manner that roughly corresponds to the areas of soreness
This sensation mostly diminishes after the first night
Overall, it is fascinating how the pain and sensation in the thighs are leading the brain to perceive movement and spatial changes differently, despite my rational understanding that my legs are mainly still and only moving slightly
