    Day 2:

It’s remarkable that I still feel relatively little pain. The discomfort in my left limb is more intense compared to the right one, with a pain level of 2 out of 10 for the left limb and 1 out of 10 for the right limb. Since I predominantly rely on my right limb in daily activities, I speculate that the weakness and increased pain in my left limb may be attributed to this factor.

During a trip to the bathroom, I utilized a walker for support. (Urination was successful); however, I have not had a bowel movement yet.

The medications administered today remain consistent with those from yesterday: paracetamol serum, serum antibiotic, vitamin D drops, and an iron pill.

My physician visited me briefly to assess my well-being and promptly departed. I spent some time watching television.

    Day 3:
The level of pain persists without significant changes. The discomfort in my left limb remains at 2 out of 10, while the pain in my right limb is at a tolerable level of 1 out of 10.

The left limb exhibits persistent pain, contrasting with the absence of pain in the right limb; discomfort in the right limb only arises during strenuous movements.

The doctor conducted a routine check-up, inquired about my condition, and then left.

    Day 4:
The pain I am experiencing has not altered much; it remains minimal.

A nurse commended my high level of activity today, stating that my mobility surpassed that of most individuals who have undergone similar limb lengthening procedures over an extended period. I expressed confusion regarding this comment, to which she replied, “No patient has ever been as mobile as you after such surgery.” Although uncertain, this seems to be my current status.

Today marks a significant event as I resolved to have a bowel movement in the toilet, despite my initial apprehension.

I successfully used the restroom, supported by iron bars on either side of the toilet seat. This was a positive experience.

After completing my bowel movement, the appearance of my stool, dark like coal, alarmed me. Despite this, upon consulting my doctor, he assured me that this discoloration was a normal side effect of one of the prescribed iron pills.

Today, I successfully resolved a noteworthy issue.

    Days 5-6:
These days have transpired similarly to the preceding ones, encompassing the routine of meals and television entertainment. The repetition of daily activities has become slightly bothersome.

    I receive my doctor’s customary daily check-up.
