I can absolutely vouch for everything said here. My LL with Thao in Ho Chi Minh was one of the worst experiences of my life. They’re basically just agents who charge a high fee but don’t do shit. There were no real medical professionals involved. All the “staff” are Thao’s family members with no medical licenses or qualifications — it’s basically a family business. His brother, a driver who also delivers food, posed as a physical therapist, and his girlfriend pretended to be a nurse. The rest looked like people you’d see selling Bánh Mì on the street. The whole setup felt amateurish and unsafe. The so-called “physiotherapy” was an absolute joke.
After I left, I managed to get in touch with Thao’s surgeon, Dr. Dinh Van Quynh, and told him about all the BS I went through. The doctor’s skills are acceptable — not perfect, but acceptable. If anyone’s thinking about doing LL with him, I’d suggest going directly to him for a much, much, much lower price without going through Thao.
