    Hello
What are the prospects of being able to run following limb lengthening?
At the present time, during the early consolidation phase, and considering my current inability to walk, I am beginning to doubt the feasibility of running in the future.
In my thirties and having undergone a 4 cm tibial lengthening, I do not intend to pursue a career as a professional runner… However, I do contemplate the scenario where I might need to run after my child or engage in occasional light jogging… Is that a realistic possibility?
Although there are accounts and proof of individuals resuming sports activities post-surgery… how frequent is that among older individuals?

You will recover swiftly and will regain the ability to run.

You will run again, but it will take some time. Avoid assessing your future capabilities based on your present state. Your healing process has just begun.

If you wish to resume running, you must select a competent surgeon for the limb lengthening procedure.
I had faith in Dr. Yasser Elbatrawy in Egypt, and now I am unable to walk properly.
The prospect of running remains a distant dream for me due to his substandard performance…
Certain physicians, such as him, view their role merely as a means to extract money from their patients.
