Is 175 impossible, or maybe even 180?

I don’t want to end up disabled; I aim for a surgical procedure costing approximately 30k with a 3 to 6-month recovery period. Am I setting unrealistic expectations?

You cannot achieve 180 degrees with quad; it will be challenging and costly, but it is attainable without causing harm to yourself.

I can manage with 180. I suppose 174 will suffice.

I meant you can, sorry for the typo. But yes, achieving 180 is possible, maybe consider something like 10F+5T or 9F+6T.

You can exceed 180, but I wouldn’t recommend it because the potential for complications will increase significantly.

Just do 8 cm on femurs and see if that is adequate for your needs. DR Rozbruch reports that 80% of his patients are content with only that amount. If it proves insufficient, you can consider 5 cm on tibias. Nonetheless, exceeding 10 cm at that level (as I have done myself) can lead to disproportionate limbs and a very noticeable change in appearance. Therefore, I recommend aiming for a maximum of 8 cm on femurs and 5 cm on tibias if you truly desire increased height. With 8+ cm on femurs alone, you would already reach a height of around 175 cm, which falls within the normal range.

Or perform Betzbone procedure for a maximum of 12 cm.

How long is the hospital stay usually with Dr. Rozbruch? Rent in New York is considerably higher than in Baltimore.

You can reach a height of around 1.72 meters by undergoing a single limb lengthening procedure or 1.80 meters by lengthening both segments if you exert significant effort. However, pushing the limits with two LLs poses significant risks. Lengthening by 12cm in a single segment is considered extreme and is typically only pursued by individuals with unrealistic goals or by those who may not have the best intentions. It is important to stay practical and realistic in pursuing your height goals.
