This may appear to tie back to my earlier posting, but the focus here is on the techniques. In consultations, the majority of physicians aim to estimate approximately how much your bones and anatomy allow you to extend in length. How do they arrive at this educated estimation?
More precisely, what is the exact process they use to assess aspects like overall bone well-being, etc., and how can I roughly ascertain this in advance by myself?
Admittedly, the typical guideline is 8 cm femurs and 6 cm tibias, but my query pertains specifically to personalized instances.
You cannot extend and monitor. It is impossible to foresee how your soft tissues will respond. The bone has the potential to grow continuously as long as you are extending at a safe pace (1mm/day femur, 0.75mm/day tibia).
I don’t believe anyone truly forecasts anything. You proceed centimeter by centimeter. Day by day. Each body has its own boundaries you continue the limb lengthening while staying in touch with the doctor
