If I might inquire, which pain relievers are you utilizing?

    Post-surgery:
Upon awakening, the nurses escorted me to my room. Wrapped in a duvet, I felt an extreme chill akin to the North Pole, causing my teeth to chatter.
Experiencing minimal pain levels of 2/10 occasionally escalating to 3-4, my main discomfort was the cold surrounding me.
While I could wiggle my toes, lifting them proved challenging due to the weight of the fixator on my legs. To my surprise, the surgery only lasted 4 hours, contrary to the typical 6-8 hours for LL procedures, attributed to the straightforward installation of the LON nail thanks to the good bone formation.
The doctor advised me to use the pain pump device for significant pain relief, which administers constant small doses of painkillers. However, I found the pain manageable without needing to press the button, only feeling a slight dizziness from the medication.

    Day 1:
Starting the day with breakfast, my pain level remained constant at 2/10, with occasional heightened discomfort in my left leg. The doctor was pleased with my progress, noting improvement compared to the first day after the surgery.
I was provided with a walker to aid my mobility, allowing me to walk and even visit the bathroom with assistance. Medications such as a pain reliever serum, antibiotic serum, Vitamin D drops, and an iron pill were administered to me.
As night fell, I struggled to sleep on my back due to the fixator restricting my movement, a reminder of the challenging journey ahead. Despite the difficulties, I remained determined not to let the process affect my spirits, understanding the resilience required to achieve my aspirations.

It was challenging to sleep, given my habitual side-sleeping position, but I persevered with the knowledge that overcoming obstacles is essential in pursuing our dreams.

Also, this physician employs external fixators made by Orthofix (produced in the United States).
