We have x-rays more frequently than that, plus no one remains in the hospital for 10 days post-surgery lol. I and the last patient stayed for 3 days. Additionally, physiotherapy occurs only once a day before reaching 2cm, and after 2cm, it happens twice a day. However, we were instructed to perform specific exercises on our own, so I suppose that could be considered as twice a day. 1mm or less…? Almost everyone has managed 1.25mm, and for some, even 1.5mm at some stage.00 -

I don’t believe that a lack of experience specifically with cosmetic LL poses much of a concern. LL is orthopedic surgery in one of its most straightforward forms, potentially its most basic. It’s not akin to plastic surgery, which possesses its own specialized skill set. You start with healthy legs, and the only task for the doctor is to lengthen them without causing any issues. An orthopedic surgeon with considerable expertise in addressing complicated leg issues may, in my view, be even more preferable than a doctor who solely concentrates on uncomplicated cosmetic LL scenarios.
All procedures orthopedic surgeons undertake are significant; it ranks as one of the toughest specializations in medical education. There are numerous cautions concerning LL, and some practitioners abstain from performing it, yet that holds true for any orthopedic surgery type. Consider if there was some aesthetic advantage to undergoing hip replacement surgery. Even the most avaricious fraudulent surgeon probably wouldn’t consider performing it on someone with healthy hips.
Your thoughts?
If I perceived it solely as a lack of experience in cosmetic lengthening, I wouldn’t regard it as much of an issue. Nevertheless, I haven’t received any feedback from anyone, nor have I located anything online, indicating that he possesses experience in Ilizarov techniques such as correcting bone deformities, malunions, non-unions, bone infections, and so on. His online presence is nearly nonexistent, and through word of mouth, it appears he is primarily trained in knee replacement, something his site seems to validate since most of his limited publications are centered around knee replacement. If one examines his About page on the site, they will notice that limb lengthening and reconstruction is merely mentioned without emphasis. I haven’t encountered any information regarding his credentials that demonstrate a focus on external fixation utilizing Ilizarov methods or any advanced external fixation course, and that leads me to dismiss him as a viable option for cosmetic lengthening (along with his involvement in the Sysop financial agreement/Phantom fake diary matter, which is a separate issue).

I have a different opinion than some of you- CLL is significantly distinct from any other LL. They serve vastly different purposes and necessitate different techniques and procedures. I would choose doctors who are much more skilled in CLL over any seasoned LL surgeon any day.00
