I’m 5’6 and my goal is to reach at least 5’10 with one surgery, as it’s the only way I can afford it right now. My only concern is how much is too much. I know that for femurs, the safe limit is around 8.2–8.3 cm (about 3.2 inches). If I only achieve this, I would reach approximately 5’9, which is just one inch shorter than my goal. So, I was wondering if aiming for about 9.4 cm would be too much.?00

In Limb Lengthening Surgery, “how much is too much?” depends on factors like the patient’s health, surgical technique, and goals. Typically, surgeons recommend a lengthening of 5-7 cm (2-3 inches) per limb. Going beyond this can increase risks, such as complications with bone healing, nerve damage, or joint instability. The body’s soft tissues, including muscles and nerves, must adapt to the lengthening, and excessive lengthening may cause tightness or mobility issues. Extended recovery times and emotional strain are also considerations. Always consult with a qualified surgeon to determine a safe and realistic amount of lengthening. For more information on limb lengthening surgery, you can refer to Height Increase Info for expert insights on the best practices and options in India.

I will be doing my next year. both femur and tibia. for 11.5cm or 4.5 inches. I strongly recommend against doing more than 3 inches in femur. It’s probably not safe, and your proportion would be off i think, for mobility and stuff. save money and do both segments is the better choice if you can save/afford it. my opinion00
